Costume Information

Everyone will be dressed in one of the following eras based on the era that they are featured in (meaning when they are out front dancing). Some students may then have additional special costumes that they will need.

*ALL performers will wear white tennis shoes.
Some suggestions for this: buy a cheap pair of white canvas shoes, paint a pair white, tape a pair white, borrow a pair, or simply come up with your own idea.

50's girls:
CLOTHES: poodle skirt, white top, chiffon scarf around neck, white bobby socks
HAIR: in ponytail if long enough with a scarf tied in it or a 50's hairstyle if short.

*A fitted white tshirt is preferred.

50's Boys:
CLOTHES:  white t-shirt, Levi/Wrangler-type blue jeans rolled up at the bottom, white socks
HAIR:   greased (gel) back in a 50's style

*Except with white shoes and no black jacket. Think Happy Days or Grease!

60's girls:
CLOTHES: plain blue jeans rolled up at the ankle or blue jean capris, white bobby socks,     colored tshirt, chiffon scarf around neck
HAIR: ponytail with scarf tied in it or a 60's style if it is short

60's boys:
CLOTHES:  white tshirt, Levi/Wrangler-type blue jeans rolled up at the ankle, socks
HAIR:  greased (gel)  back

70's:
CLOTHES: This is the hippie era so dress like one! Think bell bottoms, patches on jeans, tie-dye, fringe, ripped, bright colors, granny glasses, peace sign jewelry, beads
HAIR:  wavy hair, pigtail braids, etc. with thick cloth headbands

80's:
CLOTHES: designer 80's jeans, Izod/Polo shirts, leggings with legwarmers or bunchy socks, off-the-shoulder tops (with tank top under), bright colored shirts, flashy, gold chains
HAIR: teased, side ponytail with scrunchies, cloth headband
